Basicaly there are two main technique of hair transplantation.
A: FUE technique also called as Folluclar extraction or Excision technique. This is minimum invasive technique. In this technique invisiual follicles are extracted by smaller punches (0.8 mm to 0.9 mm diameter) and motor. At SAUNDARYACITY we have robotic unit to do FUE technique.
B: FUT technique also known as stripe technique. In this technique , a stripe of skin is removed from hair bearing area( occipital scalp) and then individual follicles are removed from this skin stripe.
Yes hair transplant is permanent solution for hair loss. The basic philosophy of hair transplant is that there is one area of scalp on back of your head between two ear which has permanent hairs and theses have stay there till your last breath. Theses hair are resistant to androgenic alopecia. Hence if we transplant from this permanent area( Back of head) and transplanted in bald area, hair hairs have lifespan equal to hair from back of scalp.
After hair transplant you have take rest for 6 to 8 days. Because you may get eyelid swelling which starts from 3rd of surgery and last three more days till 6th day.
You have to do forehead massage and ice application to reduce or prevent swelling over eyelids.
We advise head bath from 4th day daily with antiseptic solution.
If FUT technique is done then suture removal is advised on 12th day.
Scabs from transplanted area are moved after 10th day.

Lymphedema is chronic disease affecting mainly upper or lower limb characterised by progressive swelling over limbs and causing disfigurement and disability. It is due to damage to lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels leading to accumulation of protein reach fluid underneath skin ( Subcutaneous tissue) causing swelling and disfigurement of body parts.
There two main causes of Lymphedema.
1: Congenital or Primary lymphedema
This because birth defect in which lymph node or lymphatic vessels are not developed.
2: Secondary Lymphedema
This because damage to lymphatic vesssels due to specific reason liken
A: Filariasis: This most common cause of lymphedema in Indai.
It is due to Parasite infection of Wuchereria bancrofti parasite.
Other causes are radiation therapy, Cancer surgery and posttraumatic.
